The Pilates method offers virtually endless programming options to challenge core & peripheral strength, unilateral movement patterns, weight transfer, rotational power, plyometric & cardiovascular effectiveness.
The Pilates equipment offers excellent cross training capabilities
& facilitates a unique series of full body mobilizing & strengthening exercises
all which dramatically increase dynamic stability at the core & through the joints;
thus increasing power, control, coordination, & agility.
The Athletic Conditioning Specialization challenges both small & large muscle groups,
isolating precise movements at individual joints while initiating from the core.
This approach will support the retraining of muscles that may have become imbalanced
in order to achieve increased strength & agility.
You will learn to prepare physically & neuromuscularly
to take on the challenges of your sport to improve performance & avoid injury.
We will create a dynamic warmup specifically for your sport
& focus on off season training to maintain physical conditioning,
deepening the body awareness needed to
increase mobility with the stability & strength
imperative to be a successful athlete.
Including specific programs for golfers, dancers, & young athletes.
